What does To The Twin Cities do?
 

We help people buy homes in the Twin Cities metro, and the majority of that work is with buyers who don't live in Minnesota yet.

Hundreds of closed transactions. 4 Full-Time agents. 90% of our clients relocate from out of state, most of them three to six months out from the move.
 

What areas do you cover?

We work throughout the Minneapolis and Saint Paul metro and roughly an hour outside of it, in Minnesota.

We don't have a farm area. A lot of agents build a business inside four or five zip codes and every client somehow ends up looking there. That doesn't work when you're moving from another state, because you don't know yet what you want to be near and neither do we, not on day one. The whole first stretch of this is figuring that out together and then going wherever the answer is.

How we work with buyers moving from out of state

1. Relocation consult. Video call. Timeline, budget, commute, walkable or not.  This is where you design your life here.

2. Prep phase. Use our video catalog to crosscheck your designed life vs. different places in the metro. We’re here to answer questions and provide clarity.

3. Recon Trip. A day of driving the metro with us. Usually, orientation of areas, not showings of homes.

4. World-class virtual showings. High quality walkthroughs on video. Full length and critical on condition to limit surprises.

5. Remote offer. Electronic signature, wired earnest money, and we handle the negotiation.

6. Inspection. We're there in person and you either travel here or join in the walkthrough remotely.

7. Final Walkthrough.  In-person or virtual, depending on your needs.

8. Remote closing. If you can’t be here, no sweat.  Coordinated with the title company so you can close without flying back.  Remote notaries, power of attorneys, wiring funds.
    

The whole thing is built for someone who gets one trip, maybe two, maybe none, before they own a house here.
