WHERE SHOULD YOU LIVE?

We literally get this question every day, and we can't tell you where to live, but we can provide you with some resources to help you make up your mind. Don't trust any one of these sites 100%  Use them in tandem to get a feel:

Our Facebook Group! - A community of helpful folks and potential future friends!
Niche.com - A great resource for nei
ghborhood stats

Greatschoools.org - Exactly what it sounds like - How do schools stack up?

Neighborhoodscout.com - another great place to compare areas!

AreaVibes.com - Vibe check. How's it feel?

Minneapolis Crime Map - check which crimes happen where in MPLS

WHAT IF YOU'RE RENTING?

For whatever reason, here in Minnesota, it's not typical for a real estate agent to represent a tenant/renter.  More commonly they act as property managers and represent landlords. That being said, here are a few of my favorite resources for finding rental properties in the twin cities:

Craigslist  - Yes, Craigslist.

Facebook Marketplace - Another great resource for rentals in the area.

Hot Pads, Trulia & Zillow - Typically you will find bigger landlords and property management companies on these sites/apps, so if that's you're thing this is a great place to start.

WHAT'S THE BEST HOUSE SEARCH APP

Homespotter! Without a doubt, this is the best app for looking for a home in Minnesota.  This is a link to the app (make sure to download it from this link and create a login, otherwise it might as well be Zillow):
